Every body is different, and every story is unique. That’s why we emphasize personalized care. Before your first session, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary consultation with Suzanne. This is a valuable opportunity to discuss your specific needs, health history, and any areas of concern—whether you are dealing with pain, injury, stress, or simply looking to unwind and recharge.
During your consultation, Suzanne will guide you through what to expect from your customized massage therapy experience. She will explain the various techniques she may integrate into your session, such as deep tissue work, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, or myofascial release. She will also recommend the number of sessions that are likely to yield the most beneficial results for your individual goals.
This thoughtful, collaborative approach ensures that each treatment plan is carefully tailored to you, providing the best chance for lasting relief and renewed vitality.
At San Diego Lymphatics and Massage, our focus is always on supporting your long-term wellness. Whether you seek to reduce chronic tension, recover from an injury, or simply find a quiet moment of peace in your busy life, Suzanne is here to guide you toward balance and healing through the power of skilled therapeutic touch.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Post-Operative Care
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, highly specialized massage technique designed to support the body’s lymphatic system—an essential part of immune health, fluid balance, and healing. Using light, rhythmic movements, this therapy encourages the natural movement of lymph fluid, helping reduce swelling, inflammation, and fluid retention while supporting the body’s detoxification and recovery processes.
This service is especially beneficial for post-operative clients, including those recovering from cosmetic or medical procedures. Lymphatic drainage massage can help minimize swelling, reduce discomfort, support tissue healing, and lower the risk of fibrosis or fluid buildup during recovery. Each session is carefully adapted to the client’s surgical timeline, physical condition, and comfort level, ensuring a safe and supportive experience throughout the healing process.
In addition to post-op care, Manual Lymphatic Drainage is also effective for clients experiencing chronic inflammation, lymphedema-like symptoms, compromised circulation, autoimmune stress, or a sluggish lymphatic system due to injury, illness, or prolonged stress. By improving lymph flow, this therapy helps the body function more efficiently at a cellular level, often leading to improved energy, reduced pain, and a greater sense of overall wellness.
Suzanne’s approach to lymphatic work is intentional, informed, and client-focused. Sessions may also incorporate complementary techniques—such as myofascial release or gentle relaxation methods—when appropriate, to further enhance lymphatic flow and support whole-body healing.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release focuses on the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, and joints. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can limit movement and contribute to pain, inflammation, and poor circulation. This gentle yet effective technique uses sustained pressure and stretching to restore mobility and balance throughout the body.
By releasing fascial restrictions, this modality creates space for improved lymphatic flow and tissue hydration. It is particularly beneficial for clients experiencing swelling, stiffness, or post-surgical tightness, and it pairs exceptionally well with lymphatic drainage therapy to support healing and reduce fluid retention.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy addresses specific areas of muscle tension—often referred to as “knots”—that can cause localized pain or refer discomfort to other parts of the body. By applying focused pressure to these points, this technique helps reset muscle fibers, relieve pain patterns, and restore functional movement.
Releasing trigger points can also reduce localized inflammation and congestion in surrounding tissues, which may otherwise interfere with lymphatic circulation. When combined with lymphatic techniques, Trigger Point Therapy supports detoxification, reduces swelling, and enhances the body’s natural healing response.
Orthopedic Cupping
Orthopedic Cupping uses specialized cups to gently lift soft tissues, creating decompression that increases blood flow, releases adhesions, and improves mobility. Unlike traditional massage, cupping works by drawing tissues upward rather than compressing them, making it highly effective for stubborn tension and restricted areas.
This lifting action also encourages lymphatic drainage by creating space for fluid movement and reducing stagnation. Orthopedic Cupping is frequently used to support injury recovery, postural correction, and post-surgical healing when appropriate, making it a powerful complement to lymphatic-focused therapies.
